Crosby ND: Welcome

Welcome to Crosby, North Dakota

It’s not that we’re nosey. We just don’t want anyone to be a stranger for very long. Warm-hearted neighborliness is one of the attributes of Crosby, the county seat of Divide County, the northwesternmost county in North Dakota.
It’s a town of about 1,000 people located just a stone’s throw from Canada and Montana, where farming is king, black gold is a big, and the coffee pot is always on.
The third weekend in July is time for celebrating our agrarian roots, as the biggest collection anywhere of working antique steam engines is on display at the annual Threshing Bee and Antique Show.
We’ve also got a beautiful golf course, wildlife that summon hunters from afar, a winter sports center, a swimming pool, gymnastics and fitness centers and endless sunsets.
Come anytime to Crosby. Don’t be a stranger.

_______________________________________     Crosby was incorporated in 1904, a commerce center for mostly Scandinavian homesteaders. It remains a center of commerce and community.

Every November, we celebrate our Scandinavan heritage with arts, crafts, ethnic food and entertainment at the "Ludfest and Lutefisk Dinner."
